This is my first critique and I don't really feel qualified, but, here goes...

I really love the softness of the photograph, how even the subject is not quite in focus. It makes it a little mysterious, especially with her hair covering her eyes. It's quite effective. Compositionally speaking, I do think that it is cohesive and well balanced. The editing that has been done to the photograph is modest and has been done with care, and enhances the drama / impact / aesthetics.

However beautiful I think it is, it isn't the most original. The whole indie-girl-with-blurred-background has been done before (but you *have* really aced it, here). After flipping through your gallery and website, though, I see that most of your work is original and unique, so this is not a pattern xD

Overall, I think it is an extremely well composed and effective photograph.

Lovely feel and tone to this photo, caught me the second I saw the thumbnail as something special. Subtly shot without being to flashy, it just captures something perfectly. I try not to guess at what that is, motive in an image is as specific as the way it gets interpreted, whatever the aim, it is a great success.
